For the second year in a row, Brew City Marketing will be collecting gently worn or new coats and winter gear for the Milwaukee Rescue Mission’s coat drive. Milwaukee residents are encouraged to donate winter items to help the local community!
Who? Brew City Marketing and One Warm Coat are working together to collect gently used coats for the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, a shelter for homeless and ailing families. Since 1893, MRM has worked with the hungry and hurting of Milwaukee, helping them restore their lives and their hope.
What? One Warm Coat is a national non-profit organization that works to provide a free, warm coat to any person in need and raises awareness of the vital need for warm coats. One Warm Coat supports individuals, groups, companies, and organizations across the country by providing the tools and resources needed to hold a successful coat drive.
When? From 10/1/2018 through 12/1/18, Brew City Marketing will be accepting donations. You can donate any time between 9 and 4 Monday through Friday.
Where? Brew City Marketing is located at 9211 W. Center Street.
Why? Coats are distributed in the communities where they are collected, to any person in need. Over the past 26 years, One Warm Coat has worked with its volunteers to give away more than 5 million coats. Last year, Brew City Marketing collected 100 items. This year, the goal is to double that number!
