We’re very excited for any opportunity to engage with our local community. For that reason, Brew City Marketing will be holding a book drive to support Next Door and Books for Kids.

Research shows that the number of books available to a child may surpass all other variables in predicting their first-grade reading achievement and progress in school. That’s why we support Next Door’s vision of positioning neighborhood children and families for long-term success.

How You Can Help

To aid this mission, we will be collecting new or gently used books now through February 15th.

Where? You can bring book donations to Brew City Marketing’s location at 9211 W. Center Street.

When? Brew City Marketing will be accepting donations Monday through Friday between 9 am and 4 pm.

Why? All books that are donated will be taken to the book cleaning event at Next Door’s location on February 16th. At this event, we will help sort and repair the thousands of donated books that come in every year.

Next Door’s Mission

Next Door has been serving Milwaukee for over 50 years with a focus on improving literacy and school readiness for children ages zero through five. Furthermore, they support the intellectual, physical and emotional development of children by partnering with their families for success in school and the community.

Next Door’s Books for Kids program offers children a chance to build their home libraries and enjoy story time with their families. Every year, Books for Kids distributes thousands of free books to both Next Door students and children across the community.

Interested in Getting Involved with Next Door?

Giving back to our local community is a top priority at Brew City Marketing. We’re so grateful that we are able to help Next Door with their mission again. Take a look at our previous involvement with Next Door Milwaukee where we participated in their “Read With Me” program. We can’t wait for the next opportunity to engage with our community.
