Qualify it, scope it, price it

If the business or functionality is outside BCM's repeatable model, the calculator will tell us to pass or refer it out.

1. Google Meet & audit intake

Ask only what software cannot reliably determine
Contact and authoritative business identity
Services, customers and growth strategy
Markets, competitors and customer language
Content, proof, systems and access
Recommended 30-minute Google Meet flow
  1. Minutes 0-3 - Why now: What prompted the conversation and what business result matters most?
  2. Minutes 3-8 - Business truth: Confirm the exact brand, locations/service area, public phone/address, Google profile type and related brands.
  3. Minutes 8-15 - Revenue priorities: Clarify core services, top growth priorities, ideal customer, differentiators, capacity and work they do not want.
  4. Minutes 15-20 - Market reality: Confirm target geography, real competitors, customer questions and any rankings/reputation/pages that must be protected.
  5. Minutes 20-25 - Conversion and proof: Understand the sales process, desired visitor action, follow-up process, content assets, case studies, reviews and success metrics.
  6. Minutes 25-30 - Systems and guardrails: Confirm platforms, vendors, domain/analytics/GBP access, required functionality and that no automatic-pass functionality is hiding in the request.

  • Domain trust, backlinks, referring-domain concentration and legitimate authority sources.
  • Current sitemap, navigation, service architecture, calls to action, conversion friction and mobile experience.
  • Competitor architecture, content depth, authority and search visibility.
  • AI visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity using service-, market- and customer-question prompts from this intake.

Optional: Local SEO onboarding

Separate from audit and proposal readiness

Complete this after the client approves Local SEO. It reuses the business identity, services, markets, competitors and success metrics above, then captures the additional information needed to create the client in AgencyAnalytics and SE Ranking. An incomplete SEO onboarding does not block the audit or quote.

Minimum platform setup information
Google data, profile and lead tracking connections
Optional AI visibility setup
Local SEO onboarding not started - optional

These six confirmations define the minimum handoff for creating useful projects in both platforms. They do not affect proposal readiness.

Ten questions to ask so the project does not surprise us
  1. What are the three most important things a visitor must be able to do?
  2. Does anyone need to log in, access private information or manage an account?
  3. Will the website take payment, manage products, inventory, subscriptions, shipping or taxes?
  4. What scheduling, CRM, chat, texting, reviews, financing, payment or job systems are already being used? Get the exact product names.
  5. Does each vendor provide an official WordPress plugin, embed code or written integration instructions?
  6. Does information only need to be sent one way, or must two systems stay synchronized?
  7. How many standard pages, service/location pages, blog posts, listings, products or records must be moved?
  8. Who supplies final copy, photography, video, logos, staff information and legal policies?
  9. Who controls the domain, DNS, hosting, email and all third-party accounts—and are the credentials available?
  10. Is there anything the client expects the website to calculate, configure, search, filter, dispatch or automate?

6. Remaining one-time add-ons

Use supported vendor systems—not custom development

7. Ongoing services

Use BCM's repeatable ideal-client marketing programs

8. Approved adjustment

Keep discounts visible instead of hiding them in the base price

Pricing audit: what the email history actually shows

The model was built by reconciling the attached legacy price sheet with recent sales emails, approval and billing threads, signed/key proposals, and current BCM public package pages. The calculator uses current public rates where those supersede legacy sales.

Final ideal-client standards from the audit
  • Qualify the company first. The normal fit is a home-service company, contractor or professional-service business that needs calls, forms, appointments, credibility or recruiting support.
  • Standardize four products: $3,500 focused refresh, $5,500 core website, $7,500 growth website and $9,500 expanded ideal-fit website. Package allowances are 3, 7, 12 and 18 standard pages respectively.
  • Projects requiring custom APIs, portals, logins, databases, proprietary calculators, custom plugins, marketplaces or e-commerce are not BCM-fit website projects. Pass or refer them out instead of sending them to development for scoping.
  • A proposal is not ready until sales confirms visitor actions, every vendor system, page/content/migration quantities, and the absence of hidden custom functionality. These four checks replace the routine developer-scoping call.
  • Use $10,500 as the normal website-scope ceiling. Larger totals are acceptable only when they come from clearly separated marketing, content, media or third-party vendor lines—not hidden custom development.
  • Include foundational SEO in the base promise, then add $750 / $1,250 / $1,500 only when the scope includes a defined optimization package beyond normal launch readiness.
  • Standardize landing pages at $1,500, migration at $350, training at $500, standard vendor embeds at $300 each, and documented third-party configurations at $750 each.
  • Do not quote legacy hosting rates. Current plans are $79, $99 and $400 per month.
  • Use $250/month for light Google Ads management and reporting on simple or established accounts. LSA service options are $250 setup assistance or $500 full setup, plus $100/month monitoring or $200/month active management.
  • Use the copied calculator summary as the source for BCM's standardized branded PDF proposal. Show any discount as a separate approved line with a reason.
Audit production standard modeled from the Blue Fancy roadmap
  • Score five categories consistently: SEO visibility, AI visibility, technical SEO, website UX and website authority.
  • Support every score with observable evidence and distinguish client-supplied facts, tool data and analyst inference.
  • Protect existing rankings, URLs, backlinks and conversion assets before recommending structural change.
  • Test AI visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity using the prospect's services, markets and real customer questions.
  • Finish with a 30/60/90-day roadmap, priority content opportunities and a clear preserve/refresh/rebuild/ongoing-marketing recommendation.
  • The Google Meet collects business truth. Rankings, technical findings, performance, authority, architecture and AI appearances are gathered automatically afterward.
