Brew City Marketing is looking for a talented SEO Coordinator! The SEO Coordinator is responsible for implementing Organic Search strategies that will drive growth for clients of Brew City Marketing. This includes understanding the competitive landscape, market dynamics and trends, needs of the client customers and solution gaps, as well as opportunities for the respective markets.

A successful candidate will have 2+ years experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) in other marketing services agencies or marketing on the client side and will be a strong analytical, strategic and innovative thinker with creative problem-solving skills.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Take ownership of projects from start to finish
    1. Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated to SEO strategy
    2. Execute implementation of SEO strategy
  • Communication to clients, team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
  • Collaborate on client strategy and goal definition
  • Create, manage the delivery of, and present regular, client-facing reporting

Functional Areas of Responsibility

  • Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
  • Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific
  • Help to create and support marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers)
  • Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools, schema markup, etc.)
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings
  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media, and internet marketing industry trends and developments

Professional Skills & Qualifications

A successful candidate will be a team player and one who possesses superior project management, organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal). In addition, the candidate will possess:

  • 2+ years experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Experience working with CMS/ECMs and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments (WordPress is our main CMS)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration with some knowledge of PHP/JavaScript
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, MOZ, Bright Local, Raven Tools, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console as well as internal reporting tools
  • Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and paid sources
  • High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • BS/BA degree required (degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business or Engineering preferred)
