Wisconsin Romance Writers of America (WisRWA) is the local chapter of the Romance Writers of America. WisRWA hosts monthly meetings featuring development workshops for writing and publishing, both professionally and independently. WisRWA is active in five areas across Wisconsin, featuring groups in Chippewa Falls, Greater Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Wausau. There they provide a community to share industry and marketing information, as well as educational and critique opportunities. Each year WisRWA hosts workshops for writers to network with other writers and connect with editors/agents. They also offer two writing awards each year, one for published and one for unpublished writers.
We collaborated to discover Wisconsin Writers of America’s website needs and desires. After agreeing upon a plan to move forward, we initiated a redesign plan. First, we provided web design services and development through WordPress hosting to ensure ease of control. Next, we built an upgraded user-friendly framework featuring simpler navigation. Then, we delivered an appealing, clean, and modern design for the website that allows the content to speak for itself. We supplied seamless integration of existing vital infrastructure including Formidable and PayPal so the site maintained top functionality. Finally, we streamlined additional functionalities like their blog and calendar while providing a new portfolio for easy categorization of members and ease of user experience.
