Mission for Human Resources Intern

Provide office administrative support to various functions within the HR department including Talent Acquisition, Incentives, Benefits, and Talent Development.

Under direct supervision, these are the duties and responsibilities of this position:

  1. Organize and execute meetings, trainings and events.
  2. Assist with formalizing interview process including:
    1. Posting jobs to career sites
    2. Scheduling interviews
    3. Scheduling debrief meetings
    4. Greeting candidates and escorting them to interviews
    5. Ensuring seamless interview process by communicating to interviewers when there is an interruption to the original schedule
    6. Create and prepare candidate folders and offer packets for new hires
  3. Manage record retention of all personnel files and prepare copies of personnel files upon request.
  4. Order and ensure delivery of new hire cards and gifts
  5. Serve as Company Ambassador when at reception desk
  6. Create and maintain information provided on the HR intranet website
  7. Update employee handbook
  8. Provide assistance as requested in the preparation and delivery of compensation related letters (e.g. merit, promotion, offer)
  9. Complete ad hoc reporting upon request
  10. Manage the process for our company anniversary program
  11. Provide additional support on other miscellaneous projects as assigned
  12. Assist with planning group events and outings
  13. Research innovative employee benefits and incentive programs
  14. Create an employee review template
  15. Review health insurance quotes from brokers

You will be held accountable to achieve the following results in this position:

  1. Populate company intranet
  2. Solidify a process for talent acquisition
  3. Publish well written and grammatically correct internal documents
  4. Assist with planning 1 teambuilding and/or volunteer event per quarter

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
  • 1-2 years of administrative support experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with Partners (employees) at all levels in the organization
  • Intermediate knowledge using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
