Within Milwaukee, we have more than 170,000 people living in poverty with 39% of Milwaukee’s children living below the poverty line. Milwaukee Rescue Mission seeks to battle the difficult challenges that poverty, and the Wisconsin weather itself, can bring.
But Brew City Marketing doesn’t intend to let them fight this on their own this year! We’ve teamed up with One Warm Coat to collect new and lightly worn coats, mittens, scarves and hats for those in need.
Through Jan. 19, you can donate online or visit our office located at 9211 W Center St. We’re open from 9-5, M-F (Closed on Christmas & New Year’s Day).
We will then deliver the items to Milwaukee Rescue Mission. A wonderful non-profit, its members help provide food, clothing, and shelter in the Milwaukee area. On top of that, Milwaukee Rescue Mission offers education, counseling, job training, and more to help individuals grow and improve their lives.
So, if you have an extra bit of winter wear, stop by our office! With a simple piece of clothing, we can help those in need to stay warm and comfortable.
